HOOK-AND-LOOP ORDERING GUIDE

Confirm the backing as carefully as the logo

A detachable patch needs the right mating surface as well as a clear design. Include the garment or bag construction in your brief so the sample can be checked for its intended use.

Specify both mating sides

Tell us whether the patch needs hook backing, loop backing or a matching hook-and-loop set. If a receiving panel is already fitted to the product, send a photo and its dimensions. Confirm whether a separate mating piece is required and how that piece will attach to the fabric.

Plan the outline and attachment

Provide the finished width and height, border shape, preferred PVC thickness and artwork. Mention any sewing channel or border allowance needed by your assembly team. Check the patch against the available panel area; do not size the design from the logo alone.

Use the sample to check the fit

Review logo legibility, color references, edge finish and backing coverage. Try the sample on the actual receiving material and check attachment, removal and edge lift under the intended conditions. Agree on any application-specific testing before approving the bulk order.

Specify the side already fitted to your garment or bag. Hook and loop are mating surfaces, so a patch needs the compatible receiving side. If you require a complete set, confirm the separate mating piece, dimensions and method of attachment in the quotation and sample brief.
